I am passionate about helping others become the best version of who they are meant to be. I specialize in working with children, adolescents and adults who deal with surviving trauma. I have a sub-specialty in working with people challenged with anxiety, depression and anger management. My approach in session is to integrate mindfulness into our cognitive behavioral work together. This collaboration between us works to address difficulties and also at the same time, highlight strengths. Our work will bring opportunity in addressing emotional or mental blocks in achieving the ability to be open, vulnerable, and transparent; and in communicating with peers, family, and significant others. I am waiting to connect with you and begin the work together that can hopefully offer a new perspective and healing! I look forward to hearing from you!

Just as every person is unique, every situation is unique, and because of that, I strive to tailor the therapeutic process to the needs of my clients. My approach tends to lean towards person and solution focused, translating my client’s goals into realistic, achievable steps.

My top priority is to provide a safe and welcoming space where my clients can feel comfortable sharing with me their journey towards mental wellness. I find it to be a privilege to be able to collaborate with my clients in their aspirations to better themselves.

Let’s work towards turning those dreams into goals and those goals into a reality!

I’m here to guide you on your journey to personal growth and healthier relationships. With a passion for helping individuals, I specialize in the transformative power of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). These modalities are not just tools in my practice; they’re pathways to understanding, change, and achieving your goals. For couples seeking to strengthen their bonds and find healing, I also incorporate Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) techniques. Let’s work together to build better connections, find inner peace, and embrace the brighter future you deserve.

As an Art Therapist, I strive to create an open, welcoming, non-judgemental space. I believe that anyone can engage in creativity to further their understanding of themselves and the struggles they are facing. One does not need to identify as an “artist” to be able to participate in Art Therapy.

I specialize in working with adults navigating eating disorders, anxiety, life transitions, and perinatal care. I pull from multiple modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I aim to incorporate a variety of theories so that I can provide the best possible care for each individual I work with.

I am passionate about finding the best therapeutic approaches to working with my clients respective to their personal needs and preferences. I have experience working within a person-centered as well as a cognitive-behavioral therapy lens, and seek to promote a non-judgemental and empathetic environment for therapy.

I enjoy the opportunity to explore the impacts of intersectionality, culture, and identity with my clients as they seek to adjust to everyday stressors as well as adversity. I am comfortable and experienced with working with members of the LGBTQ+ community. My goal as a therapist is to support my clients with working towards their mental health and emotional goals, and achieving a greater sense of self.

As a counselor I integrate various approaches to provide a holistic way of addressing my client’s needs. Struggling with stress from work and relationships? Let’s build healthier boundaries, communication skills, and get more self-care. Feeling lost, disconnected, and without purpose? Let’s talk about the human condition, how we find and make meaning, and get better at accepting and committing to life. Feel like you can’t stop procrastinating or get organized? I’ve got strategies to help you hack your system and get control of your time. Coping with anxiety, depression, grief, or adjusting to change? Let’s strengthen your coping skills, change unhelpful narratives, and cultivate your strengths. Just want to vent and process? I’m here to listen and help you get more clarity and insight. You can count on me to hold on to hope when you falter, challenge you when necessary, and hold space for all your thoughts and feelings.

I am a licensed and board-certified Creative Arts Therapist that practices from a psychodynamic approach.  I help my clients identify and process past experiences and how they affect thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in the present day.

As an art therapist I utilize various creative modalities such as the visual arts, creative writing, movement, and music, however, I am well-versed in traditional talk therapy techniques, applying CBT and DBT based skills into my practice.  Clients have the opportunity to employ creative therapies, verbal based therapies, or a blend of both.

I facilitate autonomy and decision making in sessions with my clients, encouraging them to lead the therapy session by choosing where they need to focus their energy and explore the therapeutic modality they feel is most effective. I am there as a guide, to help my clients navigate their experience is a safe, supportive environment.

Middle Village, Telehealth

I consider myself an eclectic therapist.  I incorporate knowledge from many counseling theories to assure my clients receive the best possible care.

I am passionate about what I do and strive to provide a safe non-judgmental environment.  I partner with my clients to help them achieve their mental and emotional wellness goals.

My personal saying…”we work to achieve and maintain our physical health by diet and exercise.  We achieve emotional wellness and mental health by attending therapy!”

Jenna L.

As your therapist, I strive to support you in identifying your goals and how to meet them in a way that works best for you.

For some of my clients, therapy is about having a safe place to outlet and organize the things they hold inside. For others, it’s about active change through small, attainable steps. No matter what path you choose, we can each learn from one another along the way.

I believe in being open to new perspectives, finding peace in the moment, and using our pasts to help us build our future.

Kaitlin K.

Every person has their own story and experiences. Therefore, I aim to meet the needs of my clients with an eclectic approach.

My goal is to provide clients with a secure, non biased, and comforting space to work on their emotional well being. I strive to meet clients where they are at in their journey and provide hands-on support along the way.

One of the bravest, self compassionate steps someone can take is to begin therapy. I look forward to supporting you along the way.

I approach therapy from a collaborative and humanistic perspective. I believe in building strong rapport with my clients to help uncover deeper meaning and sense of purpose to life. I strive for personalized route of care, incorporating many different counseling theories such as CBT, DBT/mindfulness, and REBT.

I come from a wide background of experience. I’m published in trauma, have worked in addiction recovery, as well as acute care. I am open to all but specialize in life transitions, marriage/family issues, anxiety and depression.

I emphasize that while we don’t always have control of our thoughts, feelings and life circumstances, we do have control over what we do with these challenges. Let’s work together to build your therapeutic tool box and achieve your goals. Welcome to your healing journey!

I’ve worked with a wide range of populations struggling with anxiety, depression, mood, and trauma related disorders. My area of focus includes couples, family, and individual therapy from an experiential perspective.

I believe the therapeutic alliance should foster strength, a sense of empowerment, and self-development towards a better version of oneself.

I am a therapist who has been working in the mental health field for my entire career. I have gained much knowledge over the years. However, for me, successful therapeutic practice is not simply about knowledge. It is about connection, i.e., human connection between therapist and patient.

I believe I provide a therapeutic environment that motivates my patients to talk freely about the issues they find most troubling. I believe strongly in the power of the therapeutic process and have witnessed significant growth in so many of my patients.

I want to bring hope and optimism to those I serve. I am gratified to be a mental health professional.

Theresa Z.

I have been in the field of mental health for over 20 years with a focus of empowerment and managing anxiety and depression with the application of person centered coping skills for children, youth, families and adults.  I present with transparency and realness as a guide with an invested interest on the journey I am privileged to take with my patients.  I believe we are all experts of our own care but sometimes we get lost, we are uncertain of next steps and we need to be reminded of our strengths and to celebrate those strengths.   I practice with grace and pace, allowing patients to explore, learn and grow in their treatment at their own speed and with intention, purpose and genuineness.  A few of my phrases I live by….”slow it down, think it through and always do your best to be better than you were yesterday” ….now….Let’s Talk!
